Responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and management of an information management strategy for the WASH Cluster at the provincial level.

Key activities in your role will include

Objective 1: Support WASH Cluster Coordination

  • Maintain an updated database of WASH partners and their activities and areas of work (4Ws);
  • Support the Cluster Coordination Manager in updating the WASH Cluster website for submission to OCHA;
  • Provide rationalized and reliable information to support response and recovery efforts
  • Monitor and analyse key information sources (e.g., NDRRMC, DSWD, DOH) and share updates.

Objective 2: Manage Information Strategy at the provincial level

  • Advocate for WASH Cluster Members and Partners to use the WASH Cluster Information Management Strategy and tools (e.g., inter-cluster assessment tools, 4Ws);
  • Support partners in contributing to continuous assessment, monitoring, and reporting;
  • Support the identify and address information gaps within the WASH Cluster;
  • Maintain up-to-date resources, including meeting minutes and guidelines;

Objective 3: Establish Communication Systems

  • Maintain an updated contact lists of WASH Cluster members.
  • Support in updating the WASH Cluster Members and Partners to assist in the response.
  • Follow-up and request reports from partners.

Objective 4: Provide support in the implementation of the strategies and workplans that will be identified and developed by the WASH Cluster

  • Support the dissemination of strategies and workplans of the local authorities and partners
  • Support in facilitating the coordination of the regular monitoring reports of the partners against the targets identified in the workplans.

Objective 5: Contribute to a knowledge management and sharing system to the WASH Cluster

  • Document discussions on the Lessons Learned Workshops/ After Action Review being facilitated by the WASH Cluster Coordinator
  • Support the preparation of a Lessons Learned Document Report on the Emergency Response

Do you meet the profile required criteria?

  • University degree in information management or related field.
  • Experience of implementing information management systems for end users, and technical knowledge in the development of such systems. Experience in preparing analytical reports and visualization.
  • A minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in the field of planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting and learning or IM system for a humanitarian agency (preferably the UN and in particular UNICEF).
  • A minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in rapid response and humanitarian coordination.
  • A minimum of one (1) year progressive knowledge of processes and mandates of AAH preferably and/or UNICEF
  • Fluency in English
