OPS Veterinary Client Service Representative

The University of Florida Veterinary Hospitals is seeking a part-time Client Service Representative to join our team in the Veterinary Community Outreach Program (VCOP). VCOP introduces veterinary students to veterinary practice in both community and shelter environments and gives experience in spay and neuter techniques of canine and felines.
The VCOP Client Service Representative is an integral member of the patient care team and acts as a point person for communication with clients and other areas of the hospital. This role coordinates many aspects of the receiving day in addition to ensuring that patient records are complete, creating schedules, assisting with grant funding, and communicating via phone and email.

Flexible Schedule
This is a part-time position with shifts available Monday – Friday.

A post-offer education verification, background check, and health assessment are required.

$17.00 / hourly

High school diploma or equivalent and one year relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

• Experience working in veterinary medicine
• Knowledge of medical terminology
