Mission :
Under the supervision of the Deputy Country Director – Support, your mission will be to ensure the logistical performance of the Country Office and coordinate its implementation to provide the best support to the programmes.
You will ensure efficient logistical performance across the mission by developing strategies, coordinating logistics activities, and optimizing supply chains. This role supports program delivery through effective procurement, transportation, and warehouse management while ensuring compliance with organizational standards. Additionally, it involves managing logistics teams, mitigating risks, fostering partnerships, and preventing fraud and corruption to support Action Against Hunger’s mission goals.
Your responsibilities will include :
Contribute to the definition of the Logistics Country Office’s strategy 2024-25
Coordinate logistics at national level
Develop the supply chain of all major procurements of key donors like BHA, EU, ECHO, BMGF, BMZ, FCDO, GFFO and its Supply Chain Plans as per the project timelines and qualitative manner
Manage international transport in collaboration with the HQ
Contribute to the implementation of the Country Office’s safety policy, ensure its relevance, and monitoring to prevent and manage situations of fraud and corruption
Coach on the role and responsibilities of the Logistics Department and Partners
Supervise and support the Logistics team in the capital and be the functional manager of the Logistics Managers on bases : Log DHOD, Log Managers, Energy Manager, IT Manager

Profile :
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or other related fields. You have at least 5 years’ extensive experience in logistics management as Head of Logistics Department, Supply Chain Management, Ware House Management, Fleet Management and Asset Management, preferably in humanitarian and development contexts. ACF’s previous experience in Logistics Department will be an added asset, as well as previous work experience in Afghanistan.
You have a high level of integrity and transparency, excellent people management skills combined with the proven ability to further develop national staff capacity, and to coordinate a diverse range of people and responsibilities.
You possess strong analytical, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, you are able to organize and prioritize workload, using initiative when appropriate and demonstrate good judgment.
Flexible, organized and effective multitasker, you are able to live and work in a stressful and insecure environment, and to coordinate and handle pressure/stress well.
You are fluent in spoken and written English.
For international candidates :
Fixed term contract under French legislation: 12 months until 31/12/2025
Monthly gross salary from 2597 to 2968 euros upon experience
Reimbursement of the pension insurance for non-French citizens: 16% of the gross monthly salary
Annual salary increase: 6% increase after and each 12 months of continuous contract
Monthly per diem and living allowance: 645euros net, field paid
Monthly country allowance: 450euros
Child allowance: 1500euros per year per child present in the country of origin (maximum 6000euros/year)
Transportation and accommodation: Coverage of transportation costs and guest house
Medical coverage: ACF covers 100% of the social security, health insurance, and repatriation insurance agreement fees.
Salary sustainment measures (sickness, paternity, maternity)
Leaves and RnR: 25 days of paid leaves per year, 20 RnR per year, airfare reimbursement with a ceiling to get to the chosen break destination, and 215 euros for each RnR period
