The Aurora Internship Program offers a compelling opportunity to develop practical skills, build professional networks and gain a rewarding opportunity to learn from and work with First Nations peoples, communities and organisations.
The Program arranges 4-6 weeklong internships Australia-wide with Indigenous sector organisations and corporate organisations involved in health, education, land rights, justice, community and environmental development, legal, creative arts, social welfare, and research.
Opportunities are also available outside the sector so long as the placements align with your study background.
The Program arranges internships for students and graduates with ALL academic backgrounds. Internships are available in all major cities and some remote/regional areas of Australia.
Scholarships will cover the intern’s daily living expenses ($180/day) and up to $3,800 for travel and accommodation costs for away-from-home internships and are required to be a minimum of 20 days and a maximum of 30 days.
