About the Roles
Faculty of Science has multiple opportunities available in academic, graduate research and learning and teaching support within faculty and school teams. We are seeking organised and proactive individuals to play a critical role in supporting our teaching, learning and researcher experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and provide high quality administrative support for the faculty’s academic programs within the Schools. You will provide policy and procedural advice to School staff and student-related central staff. You will also provide quality administrative support to course conveners and students, and implement effective processes for academic programs administration in the School.

Who We Are Looking For
You will have a proven track record in administrative support, ideally in student administration in the tertiary education sector, showcasing strong judgment, initiative, and time management abilities while prioritizing tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate should also exhibit a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service, a commitment to continuous improvement, self-motivation, flexibility, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

You bring a natural ability to provide administrative support, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality. You can work autonomously and collaboratively in a team, interpret and provide advice per organisational procedures and policies, and deliver high-quality service while relating effectively to diverse stakeholders.

You will also have:

  • A completion of a degree with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to deal with a range of people internal and external to the University, and the ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Demonstrated excellent attention to detail and ability to respond to competing demands.

This position requires the incumbent to hold a current and valid Working with Children Check to ensure the University provides a safe environment for everyone.
