We are looking for a Academic Support Manager to join our team.

This full-time position may be the role for you – particularly if you are looking for a step on the ladder to ELT management. At our vibrant, friendly school in Cambridge, we’re looking for an Academic Support Manager, who will work alongside the DoS to support the English language teaching team and assist with academic administration and the delivery of K+ products and services.

As this role combines academic administration and teaching, you will also deliver well-planned, engaging and successful lessons in line with the Kaplan International Languages Teaching Standards. As part of our team, you will help to promote the welfare and safeguarding of students, whilst ensuring that students have the very best Kaplan experience, with first-class customer service.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated English Teacher, who is looking to expand their skills and build their career with an industry leader.

What you’ll bring to the role

TEFLI Status – For example via a CELTA/Cert TESOL or equivalent

Experience in administration work (preferably in an ELT environment)

Experience in developing learner autonomy

Experience in effective student counselling and tutorials

Experience in teaching a variety of levels

Experience in teaching exam preparation and/or business classes
