About the position
The Access Clinician (Level 2) is required to assist in the intake and allocation of new referrals, clinical review and quality assurance processes within supervision of the Access Team. Their role also includes clinical service delivery, including HEADSS and risk assessments, care and safety planning, psychosocial education and brief therapeutic interventions. Outreach and community engagement activities may be required within community or satellite service site, as rostered or delegated.
In addition, opportunities are available to perform supervisory duties with students depending on qualifications. They will be expected to contribute to the development and maintenance of community partnerships and referral pathways. The Access Clinician (Level 2) contributes to clinical governance, escalation and support at the centre alongside the clinical team leader.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Facilitate delivery of HEADSS and risk assessments, care planning, clinical care coordination, psychoeducation and brief therapeutic interventions
- Outreach and community engagement activities may be required.
- Opportunity to perform supervisory duties with students depending on qualifications
- Contribute to clinical governance, escalation and support at the centre alongside the clinical lead.
- Assist in the intake and allocation of new referrals, clinical review and quality assurance processes
- Support primary and secondary consultation for the clinical team
