Scope of Position  

Position is responsible for providing administration and support of all OSUWMC employees, guests, and affiliates identity and access to Information Technology (IT) systems and applications The Identity and Access Management team within OSUWMC IT Data Security is committed to assisting The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC) and its patients.

Position Summary  

Position is responsible for providing centralized 24×7 identity and access management through customer support, administration, and maintaining a large enterprise environment. Position works with IT technical and applications teams by identifying, tracking, and solving problems related to user identity and access through the life cycle management of critical accounts within service levels, while assuring the availability, integrity and confidentiality of the OSUWMC IT environment. This includes directory management, account creation and configuration, file access, identity management and auditing. Receives and processes computer system and electronic file access requests, including but not limited to identity verification, computer account modification, file access modification, security group modification and user role mapping. Assigns systems access accounts to staff members across multiple computing software and hardware platforms and applications as defined by the policies and standards for the protection of PHI and related access. Provide consultation on basic to moderately complex problems and issues concerning identities, system access, account authorization process, username and password, etc.  The primary focus of this position will be in the IHIS space.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and 2 years of experience in information security best practices, security audit controls and techniques, Microsoft Active Directory or other LDAP products, ITIL framework and processes, Service-Now, EPIC user access provisioning, Novell IDM administration, PowerShell commands, and SQL and Access database.
