The Accommodation Team are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to provide a customer orientated front line service to current and prospective students as part of a strong and supportive wider team. The team are responsible for delivering a professional and friendly accommodation service to incoming students and their families, students living on campus as well as assisting with the transition to off campus living.Preferred start date: 10th July 2024Expected end date: 2nd October 2024Location: On the Lancaster University campusHours per week: 36.5You will have excellent IT and communication skills as well as strong organisational skills and will be expected to demonstrate you can work in a team and have a flexible approach to work.The post is available from 10th July for a period of 12 weeks. The successful candidate will work 36.5 hours per week Monday-Friday, on campus in a customer facing role.Job DescriptionProvide efficient support for day-to-day operation of the central Accommodation Team, including:

Experience of delivering excellent front line customer service, dealing with a range of queries /concernsExperience of administrative processes in an office environmentStrong organisational skillsExperience of prioritising workload to meet competing deadlinesStrong IT skills with experience of electronic management systems and databases and all Microsoft applicationsAbility to work in a team and have a flexible approach to workEffective numeracy and literacy skills with minimum of GCSE levels Grade C (or equivalent) in both English and Maths.Potential applicants may wish to make informal enquiries by contacting Sarah Milne, Departmental Officer on 01524 593554 or via Teams.You are required to submit a cover letter to support your application.
