cecoforma has over 40 years of experience in the field of event organisation and communications. We primarily serve the EU Institutional market, organising close to one thousand events and communications campaigns each year. We are currently hiring for the role of Account Manager Support.

Description of the role

cecoforma is proudly recording a period of strong growth and is welcoming new talent to accompany and support this positive development.

We are looking for a highly motivated professional to work alongside the Account Manager and the team in charge of one of cecoforma’s flagship contracts for the European Commission. This person will regularly be asked to take full ownership and accountability for certain projects.

Your role will be to:

  1. Support in the management of the framework contract  to ensure the overall smooth running of the contract’s activities.
  2. Support in the cost-efficient implementation of specific projects 
  3. Support with resources management and onboarding to ease high-quality delivery of events & communication services for our various clients/contracts.
  4. Support with offer preparation  when necessary

The selected candidate’s main tasks will include:

  • General administrative & operational tasks necessary for the overall running of the framework contract  
  • Financial & invoicing tasks
  • Support in the overall reporting process
  • Support with offer preparation, liaising with teams, partners and suppliers
  • Additional tasks as deemed necessary to successfully perform the role.
Requirements

The ideal candidate is solution – oriented, commercial, motivated and flexible.

He / She has:

  • 1-3 years of experience in the production of events & communication services; or any customer related activities. Experience in EU institution projects is an asset
  • Excellent organisational, administrational and planning skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Ability to work with different partners
  • Commercial mindset in terms of realising expected profitability & objectives
  • Work proactively & autonomously while working well with large teams
  • Understanding the EU Institutions way of working
  • Excellent English, spoken and written, any other language(s) would be an asset, particularly French
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, MS project, internet, …)
  • Belgium based – regular presence in the Brussels office required
