Job Description

DUTIES:

• Prepare monthly financial reports for the donor.
• Gather necessary documents to support the financial reports.
• Upload of the project budget on Oracle.
• Prepare invoices or request for funds to the donor.
• Review and ensure actual expenditures conform to the approved budget.
• Support in the preparation of the yearly forecast for the project.
• Review and justify partners’ financial reports on the project.
• Coordinate yearly project audit and respond promptly to audit queries.
• Attend to project finance related questions from the donor.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATION: 

BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment. ICAN/ACA Professional Certification is an added advantage.

COMPETENCIES:

The ideal candidate must:

• Have excellent communication skills.
• Have a strong analytical mind.
• Be a good team player and be honest.
• Be very good with computer applications, especially Oracle.
• Be willing to travel to project site in Kano occasionally.
