Summary of Job Duties:

The Accounts Receivable Manager provides leadership in managing the daily operations and strategic objectives of the accounts receivable cycle through design, implementation, maintenance, and management of all accounts receivable business functions and procedures for the Accounts Receivable department within the Division Business Office.
The Accounts Receivable Manager regularly makes decisions for establishing work priorities and managing activities, coordinates workflow and interactions within the department and with other departments.
The Accounts Receivable Manager may have budgetary responsibilities and will have supervisory responsibility for non-classified, classified and/or temporary staff.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline plus three (3) years of relevant professional experience, including one (1) year in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Preferred Qualifications
One year experience using Workday or a similar accounting system to perform accounting and financial functions. State government or Higher Education experience. Strong Excel spreadsheet skills are preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to speak and write clearly & communicate ideas successfully. Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work. Ability to attend to details while simultaneously handling multiple projects. Ability to analyze, interpret, and apply relevant regulations, policies, & procedures. Initiative to learn and maintain current knowledge in area of assignment. Physical and mental ability to effectively perform duties and responsibilities related to the job, which may include long and irregular hours of work.
