- Remuneration: $60,000 to $65,000 (plus 11% superannuation)

- Duration: 12-month Fixed-term appointment
St John Ambulance (Vic) has been saving lives and delivering care and compassion throughout Victoria for 140 years. Our volunteers and our staff are the lifeblood of everything we do. We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Officer to ensure that accounts are paid in a timely manner.
The Opportunity
The accounts and finance team play an important role within St John Ambulance (Vic) ensuring our debts are collected in a timely manner and accounting for receipts. The role will include the acquisition and management of resource essential for the delivery of these services.

Key Responsibilities
- Generate invoices for major customers in an accurate and timely manner
- Collect debts to ensure timely, compliant and effective outcomes
- Answer and investigate customers queries
- Reconciliation of debtors accounts and follow up on delinquent debtors
- Perform credit checks
- Report and analyse accounts receivable reports
- Provide administration assistance
- Ensure compliance with organisation policies and procedures

- Demonstrated experience in processing invoices payments and identifying discrepancies
- Time management skills
- Demonstrated strong customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to take initiative
