Description of Work:

The Acquisitions Financial Associate is responsible for transactional and reporting support of the University Libraries. This position ensures that finance transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner and in compliance with all applicable University, UNL, State and Federal regulations, policies, and guidelines. The Acquisitions Financial Associate provides procurement support for the Libraries, primarily in the area of content acquisition financial processing and budget reporting. This position is also responsible for providing support to Libraries faculty and staff in completing transactions through the Big Red Business Center (BRBC). Duties for this position impact the University Libraries acquisitions, operations, and the business support provided to the University of Nebraska Consortium of Libraries (UNCL).

Minimum Required Qualifications:

High school diploma plus two years accounting, budget, procurement or related financial experience; equivalent education/experience considered. Experience or training with Microsoft 365 Office Suite and Adobe.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree in accounting, business, finance or related field. Experience with library content acquisition and purchasing. Experience working with SAP.

Posted Salary: $18.269/hr minimum
