Adjunct Instructor – Political Science

Position description

Harris-Stowe State University is a historically Black institution (HBCU) located in the heart of vibrant mid-town St. Louis, Missouri. Harris-Stowe’s diverse faculty and staff provide a wide range of academic programs to one of the most culturally diverse student bodies in the St. Louis region

The Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences is creating a pool of potential adjunct instructors to teach courses in Political Science. The successful candidate must possess a Doctorate or a Master’s Degree in Political Science or related field and have earned at least 18 credit hours in political science at the graduate level. 

Duties will include teaching Political Science courses for majors and non-majors, creating course curriculum, maintaining attendance logs, creating and maintaining electronic grade book.

Appointments are for immediate and upcoming semesters.
