Position description
The Politics Program at Marymount University seeks applicants for adjunct faculty positions. Interviews will occur as open positions become available.
The Politics Program values innovative approaches to pedagogy and interest in mentoring and supporting students of color, international students, transfer students, and first-generation students. Adjunct faculty will enjoy a supportive and collegial environment, as well as membership in the Washington Research Library Consortium.
Responsible for providing a quality learning experience for Marymount University students on a semester basis.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Teach designated courses and must be committed to program development and monitoring course content and course implementation.
- Maintains appropriate office hours and advises students on coursework.

- Master’s degree at minimum; PhD degree in related field preferred for graduate teaching.
