Shareteah Humanitarian Organization (SHO) is an Iraqi National NGO promoting safety & development through mine action and explosive ordnance risk education (EORE)awareness, and clearance of mines, explosives and remnants of war.to assistance for people affected by armed conflict. Founded in 2016, SHO has organized & executed programs throughout Iraq. including the provinces of Nineveh, Duhok, Kirkuk, Tikrit, Anbar, and Baghdad. It currently holds offices in Duhok and Mosul.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Administrative assistants provide support to SHO managers, other employees, and office visitors by handling a variety of tasks in order to ensure that all interactions between the organization and others are positive and productive. These professionals may also be referred to as administrative coordinators or administrative specialists.
Administrative Task:
- Making travel arrangements, such as booking flights, and cars, and making hotel and restaurant reservations once it’s required.
- Maintain the storage rooms in the SHO office and ensure that all items are properly stored as per the required standards.
- To keep records and maintenance of commonly used items such as printers, scanners, mobile phones, and other similar items.
- Creating, updating, and maintaining Admin records and databases such as letter trackers, and inventory. etc.
- Managing the organization’s official letter database and keeping it updated.
- General office management such as ordering stationery, office supplies and cleaning materials.
- Coordinating building and maintenance issues for general repair (heating and air conditioning, security, etc.) and updating (carpet cleaning, painting, etc.).
- Organizing official events once it’s required
- Coordinating with external stakeholders such as governmental agencies.
- Responsible for creating and updating Staff IDs across the organization
Other Tasks:
- Ensure that SHO logistic policies, systems and guidelines are implemented, used and adhered to.
- Providing support to the procurement and logistics department once it’s required can help ensure the smooth functioning of the organization’s operations. This may involve a range of tasks, including assisting with procurement processes, managing inventory, and coordinating deliveries.
- Scheduling an organization’s calendar and updating it as required.
- Provide Support to other departments once it’s required.
