The Global Green Growth Institute internship program provides a unique learning opportunity for students and recent graduates from diverse academic backgrounds. The program is designed for talented and motivated individuals skilled in areas relevant to GGGI’s operations. The program allows selected candidates to gain insight into the work of the Institute and provides assistance and training in various professional fields in a multicultural environment. We encourage qualified women and men, in particular, nationals of developing countries, with diverse professional, academic, and cultural backgrounds to apply.
We are looking for a talented individual to work with us in the Operation Enabling Unit of the GGGI Laos Country Program, with a focus on providing administrative support to the team in promoting green growth and sustainable development.
The assignment will include the followings but not limited to:
- Support the project team to plan, prepare and deliver workshops, meetings, consultations and other events and activities in line with GGGI’s operational procedures;
- Support the project team in administrative documentation, document preparation, review and finalization, and visa administration.
- Support the project team in the basic set-up of tQhe new laptops for staff and troubleshoot hardware issues related to servers, PCs and printers with guidance.
- Engage with various stakeholders and government officials associated with GGGI’s in-country operations and administration;
- Provide ad-hoc support to GGGI Lao Country Program upon request.
ELIGIBILITY
- Applicants to the GGGI internship program must at the time of application meet the following requirements:
- Be enrolled in a Bachelor’s (final year), Master’s or PhD program prior to internship assignment, or a recent graduate within the last 12 months.
- Be engaged or recently engaged in academic study in a field directly related to the Institute’s work.
- Possess an excellent command of English.
Qualification :
- Enrolled in / recent graduate from a bachelor’s degree in including but not limited to Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, International Relations, Human Resource Management, Public Relations, Marketing;
- Enrolled in / recent graduate from a dual bachelor’s degree in computer science/IT and business-related studies advantageous.
- Experience in but not limited to internship, voluntary works, IT support, project administration, secretariat, accounting/finance assistance, workshop /travel arrangement, VISA processing, procurement and human resource;
- Excellent command on spoken and written English and Lao.
