The FAO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (RAP) is responsible for leading FAO’s efforts to achieve food security for all in the Asia-Pacific region. FAO’s three main goals are: the eradication of hunger, food insecurity and malnutrition; the elimination of poverty and the driving forward of economic and social progress for all; and, the sustainable management and utilization of natural resources, including land, water, air, climate and genetic resources for the benefit of present and future generations.
Tasks and responsibilities:
The incumbent is expected to undertake the following tasks, under the orientation of and in close discussion with the FAO Lead Technical Officer and and the Regional Coordinator and International Agriculture and Climate Change Specialist:

The incumbent is expected to undertake the following tasks, under the orientation of and in close discussion with the FAO Lead Technical Officer and and the Regional Coordinator and International Agriculture and Climate Change Specialist:
- Provide the delivery of administrative services to the project in the areas of recruitment, finance, procurement and general services;
- Ensure that project work and procurement plans are completed according to FAO guidelines;
- Perform monitoring and analysis of project financial statement and address discrepancies, problems, and other variations as necessary in a timely and effective manner;
Support the preparation of inputs for project monitoring and progress reports:
- Support the organization of the arrangement of venues and logistics for regional and country level workshops and meetings as well as travel and accommodation for international consultants through coordination with other responsible officers;
- Support dissemination of project knowledge products and materials on digital and other media platforms;
- Support coordination between the project teams and the relevant staff at the NDAs and ministries of agriculture;
- Perform other relevant tasks.
Candidates Will Be Assessed Against The Following
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
- National of Thailand
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, International Development or other related field
- At least 3 years of work experience in procurement activities and office support work
- Experience working in an international organization
- Working knowledge of English
Selection criteria:
- Master’s degree desirable in Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, International Development or other related field
- Good knowledge of the MS Office applications, Internet and office technology equipment
