Key Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and high quality support in relation to recruitment, payroll and establishment management.
- Maintain an efficient and up-to-date filing and retrieval system for the office, including file creation, file maintenance, maintenance of office databases and data entry.
- Coordinate Recruitment and Selection processes including ensuring all record keeping for recruitment is undertaken by panels.
- Provide timely, high quality advice, support, and training on OPG’s filing systems for the HR team.
- Manage and direct incoming telephone calls, inbox emails, and external and internal correspondence
- Maintain appropriate confidentiality in a highly sensitive service delivery environment.
- Build positive relationships with all stakeholders including other employees, clients, external service providers, unions, payroll services and other departments, ensuring that requests are responded to in a timely manner.
- Maintain to a high standard human resource registers relevant to the role for the effortless retrieval of information.
- Effective office management skills to produce professional documents using word processing, spreadsheet and database software packages.
- Actively participate in a team environment to ensure that human resource management services provided are client focused, timely, accurate and confidential.
- Actively participate in the review and continual improvement of service standards to both internal and external customers.
- Attend, minute, and contribute to internal team meetings as required and provide administrative support to the team.
- Other duties and projects as required by the Team Leader and Principal Consultant.
