Job Description

AECOM is actively seeking for a highly motivated Administrative Assistant for employment in the New Orleans, LA office.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides administrative support to one or more managers within a group, office or business unit including some of or all of the following: prepares or proofs correspondence, forms, spreadsheets, or documents, schedules meetings, makes travel arrangements, and/or maintains inventory of office supplies.

  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

  • Uses Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other programs to accomplish work.

  • Works under general supervision.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma + two years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

  • Due to nature of this work, US citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in an engineering office

  • Experience in preparing typing and editing reports, contract specifications (to be performed under an engineer’s supervision)

  • Experience with SpecsIntact software

  • Relocation assistance is not offered for this role.

  • The offered rate of compensation (Louisiana locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The hourly range for this position is $16.52 – $22.71/hr.
