Position Summary:
Under supervision of the Division Administrator, the Assistant supports administrative functions for assigned divisions in the Department of Medicine. Major duties are providing financial support (Reconciling financial transactions, forms preparation, all aspects of purchasing, honorariums, and donor funds) general office and facilities management, and personnel/administrative administration. Maintain accurate records and documentation in support of all purchases. May processes low-value purchase orders, high value requisitions and other types of purchases as required. Utilizing KFS financial system to submit Travel/Entertainment/Meeting reimbursements, processing transactions related to business expenses, and purchasing and maintaining inventory of office supplies for the Division. Perform payroll reconciliation for Division accounts, both restricted and unrestricted. Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

$27.34 – $32.84 (Hourly Rate) Expected Pay Range within the Full Salary Range $27.34 – $39.18 (Hourly Rate)

Required:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to produce clear and concise documents of professional quality.
- Ability to define problems, identify relevant factors, formulate logical conclusions, and suggest solutions
- Ability to manage and prioritize projects independently
- Ability to independently investigate issues, compile data and make recommendations for action
- Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Office package
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Art or Bachelor of Science Degree in a related field
- Bachelor of Art or Bachelor of Science Degree in a related field Demonstrated working knowledge of university financial systems and policies
