TREAD needs a part-time Entry Level Administrative Assistant to support four full-time employees in Wenatchee, WA. Our collaborative team values outdoor experiences and well-being in a relaxed work environment.

Non-Profit Background:
TREAD is leading 50+ partners in Chelan and Douglas Counties to enhance and protect our regional outdoor recreation for all who live, work, and play in our communities. TREAD collaborates with our partner organizations and agencies to find creative solutions in Chelan and Douglas Counties for sustainable trails, diverse partnerships, community leadership, and economic development. Our focus is improving regional outdoor recreation for sustainability and accessibility for current and future users. Through our relationships, we can identify the intersections and needs of our partners. We accomplish our goals through grants, project management, and collective impact work. We identify needs and leverage our relationships to efficiently fund, plan, and execute projects for the next 5, 10, and 20 years.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Administrative Assistant to join our small non-profit team. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, communicative, approachable, and able to handle a variety of administrative tasks to support our daily operations. Previous experience in a non-profit environment is preferred but not required. This role requires a valid driver’s license and ability to lift 40 lbs.

This position will report to the Executive Director of TREAD and may require infrequent evening and weekend work to meet sensitive project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support
  • Working with guidance from other staff, drafting reports, letters, and proposals
  • Data Entry and Record-Keeping
  • Assistance with scheduling and day-of support for events and meetings
  • General communication and correspondence with partners and the public
  • Collaborate with team members
  • Checking the mail, answering phones, organizing office
  • Coordinating and Scheduling meetings, experience with scheduling platforms
  • Running errands

Required Skills:

  • Highly motivated, flexible, self-directed and proactive.
  • Task Management
  • Communicate effectively
  • Proficient in Google Suite
  • Experience with Meeting Scheduling Platforms
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs

Compensation & Schedule:
$20-22/hour, 20-25/hours a week, flexible schedule, (example schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:30 am – 1:30 pm)
