About ELDAC
ELDAC (End of Life Directions for Aged Care) is a national program of work funded by the Australian
Government Department of Health and Aged Care being delivered by a consortium comprising three universities and four peak bodies to improve palliative care in aged care. The Flinders team hosts the ELDAC website, manages marketing activities and develops digital innovations.
About the Role
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing day to day administration support and is the first point of contact for all enquiries. As the administrative assistant, you will contribute to ELDAC services by:

Processing and reconciling accounts
-
Assisting with the conduct of project meetings including booking rooms, calendar management, project mailbox management, facility hire, travel arrangements, catering and minute taking.

Assisting the web team in editing of the webpages.

Preparing reports on web statistics, or other project activities as required.

About You
You are a highly organised individual with impeccable attention to detail, well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of people, along with:

A diploma with relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

Proven ability to manage mailbox, calendar, and general handling of telephone queries.

Well-developed written and oral communication skills.

Exemplary computer and keyboard skills with extensive experience in using the full range of
-
Microsoft Office Suite including Excel.
Previous experience working in in higher education or in a health and aged care setting will be highly advantageous.
