Job Duties

Duties & Responsibilities Oversees and coordinates administrative operations for the Center for Athletic Academic Services (CAAS). Monitors incoming mail once a week. Monitors and purchases office supplies/equipment including recruiting folders for the department using appropriate institutional system keeping appropriate inventory. Ensures copier and printer operations are maintained.
Duties & Responsibilities Monitors budget and collaborates with Director and Student Academic Success budget staff for budget planning and spending.
Duties & Responsibilities Serves as the primary point of contact with Physical Plant related to office space issues including door and key inventory for staff and students. Submits telecommunications and Physical Plant work orders as needed. Serves as an informational resource to internal staff and outside departments, providing advice and counsel regarding the academic procedures implemented by the CAAS department.
Duties & Responsibilities Creates contracts for temporary staff, graduate assistants, student workers, and tutors using appropriate institutional systems. Keeps track of biweekly employee hours worked and verifies time submitted is accurate by the designated deadline.
Duties & Responsibilities Maintains a variety of records, electronic or manual file systems. Manages and reconciles receipts for P-Card purchases made by staff to make sure we stay in compliance with University requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities Manages weekly staff meeting agenda. Keeps Associate Athletic Director, Assistant Athletic Director, and CAAS staff informed of upcoming responsibilities and action items that may impact the daily operations of the department and follow up accordingly. The primary resource for Associate Athletic Director for reports and special projects.
Duties & Responsibilities Manages CAAS room reservations for tutoring, and special events. Assists CAAS staff by producing graduation programs for student-athlete graduations as well as receptions in both the spring and fall. Assists CAAS staff with special events including but not limited to greeting guests, set up, and/or break down.
Duties & Responsibilities Answers telephone calls, handles walk-in inquiries, students, and visitors by answering the question or directing them to the appropriate CAAS staff for resolution. Serves as a primary reference source to assist department and employees in resolving discrepancies or procedural problems utilizing knowledge of specialized function; responds to technical administrative questions ensuring necessary follow-up is performed.
Duties & Responsibilities Reviews reports and printouts to identify and trace the source of errors and makes necessary corrections; performs technical or complex verification and reconciliation activities.
