The College of Business invites applications for an Administrative Associate Manager to join their team. This position provides administrative support for the dean’s office in the operations of the college. In this role you will be the first point of contact for those entering the College, which requires a high level of confidentiality and thorough understanding of the College and University’s mission, programs, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Developing and executing on-going special projects and assisting with the management of daily operations and routine tasks, including building management, planning, and execution of events.
- Creating social media content.
- Working closely with multiple departments across campus, donors, board members, and the community.
- Processing Procard, travel, non-PO payments, and administrative forms required for policies and procedures.
- This position may require occasional back-up for COB staff and work outside of normal business hours for events (scheduled in advance).
Required Skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Office software applications, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, One-Note, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated experience in a professional office setting, including excellent customer service skills, reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to learn and use new technology and software as needed.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in writing and orally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to take initiative and work with little supervision, problem solve, and make sound decisions.
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and utilize time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
Minimum Required Experience
- High School diploma and three (3) years of closely related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors’ degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of the Montana University System, organizational structure, and educational environments.

Position Details
Position Title: Administrative Associate Manager
Position Number: 077640
Department: School of Business
Work Schedule: Full-time, 1.0 FTE (40 Hours a week), Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 12 months/year.
Salary: $22.374/hr. Current employee’s rate of pay for this position will be determined by the staff compensation plan and will minimally be this posted salary. For questions and details regarding the staff compensation plan, email the Compensation Department .

Probationary Period: Six months minimum
