Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Assists with data entry on price updates from vendors
- Answers calls for Sugar & Spice
- Helps guests place orders online through Spoonfed
- Performs other data entry and office duties as assigned by manager
General Responsibilities
- Assists with office production and determining alternative methods to improve workflow and efficiencies
- Opens, sorts, and routes incoming mail; answers correspondence, and prepares outgoing mail
- Compiles, copies, sorts, and files records of office activities
- Monitors the use of office supplies and equipment; reorders items as required
- Completes and mails bills, contracts, policies, invoices, and checks
- Answers phones, directs calls, and takes messages for the office
EDUCATION
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED)
WORK EXPERIENCE
Preferred
- Some experience in a related field
SKILLS
Required
- Proficient communication skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Demonstrates the ability to maintain confidential information
- Maintains a high degree of professionalism
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to move items weighing up to 25 pounds. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
Salary Plan and Grade: PAA-1AM
This is a CWA union covered position.

8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday
