JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Penn State Behrend Office of Career Services is searching for an experienced Administrative Professional who is proactive, team-oriented, and customer-service focused. The administrative professional supports the general administrative functions of the Career Services unit, including: greeting/referring/assisting visitors, customers, or staff; preparing documents and reports; compiling records; scheduling meetings; organizing and maintaining information; coordinating calendars; communicating with internal and external customers to exchange information, resolve issues or concerns; update, monitor, and maintain the Graduate Survey. This position has responsibility to coordinate biannual career fairs that showcase Behrend students to our industry partners, and will also support graduation planning and commencement.
This position typically requires a high school diploma or higher plus a minimum of 2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience is preferred. Strong ability to multi-task and coordinate several projects simultaneously with the utmost attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
