We support medical facilities in various countries and regularly send medical personnel to support the ongoing work. Nurses, doctors and midwives not only work with patients, but also engage and facilitate in training for local colleagues in specialist topics and assume further tasks (e.g. coordination, logistics).
Central African Republic: Nurses, doctors, and midwives for our hospital in Bossembélé (French speaking).
Mozambique: Nurses, doctors, and midwives for the hospital in Pemba and health facilities in the province of Cabo Delgado (Portuguese speaking).
Sierra Leone: Pediatric nurses and pediatricians for the children’s hospital in Freetown (English speaking).
Sudan: Nurses, doctors, and midwives for the hospital in the Nuba Mountains (English speaking).
Prerequisite:
- A minimum age of 25 years
- At least three years of professional experience (after college or apprenticeship)
- Solid foreign language skills
- High commitment for a deployment of six months
- The ability to work independently
- Team-player skills
- Improvisational and organizational skills
