Program:
Djerriwarrh, trading as Learning for Employment (LfE), is contracted by the Federal Department of Home Affairs to deliver the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) across Western Melbourne, Barwon and Ballarat Contract Regions. Learning for Employment (LfE) comprises of six community education Learn Local providers.
Role:
The AMEP Manager is responsible for Djerriwarrh’s delivery of the AMEP in Sunshine, Melton and Ballarat with the position based in Sunshine.
The AMEP Manager leads a team of Teachers, Team Leaders, Pathway Counsellors and administration staff to deliver an innovative and engaging AMEP to help eligible migrants and humanitarian entrants with low English levels to improve their English language skills and settle into Australia.
The AMEP Manager works collaboratively with the SEE Manager and with Compliance Manager to ensure courses delivered are meeting the requirements of the relevant contract, the AQTF and VRQA. This position is supported by a Senior Manager.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary level qualification in education/related field or extensive relevant experience.
