THE POSITION
In this 12 month fixed term, full-time role, you are responsible for delivering a high quality Leisure and Lifestyle Program for our residents that reflects their preferences and enables individuals to maximise their abilities with an appreciation of the physical, social and cultural background each person brings into the Aged Care setting. This position works closely with the Management team.
ABOUT US
Menkawum Ngurra Frail Aged Hostel, part of Yura Yungi Medical Service is a 28-bed Residential Aged Care Facility in the Shire of Halls Creek. We assist both low and high-care needs residents with day-to-day activities of daily living and quality clinical care and provide regular outings. Menkawum Ngurra operates in a culturally appropriate manner and is supported by and forms part of the Yura Yungi Medical Service Aboriginal Corporation, an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service. Yura Yungi provides primary health care services, along with holistic, culturally appropriate curative services with integrated preventative programs.
WHAT WE OFFER
A competitive salary (experience dependent) from $79,040 pa (or $40.00 ph) is offered with additional applicable penalties. A Remote Allowance of $2,300pa pro-rata and subsidised accommodation is provided, and 4 weeks Annual Leave (pro rata) and generous Salary Packaging benefits are offered. As a Public Benevolent Institution and a remote area employer, we can offer employees a range of optional benefits via salary packaging depending on individual circumstances.
