You will lead a small team of Agile Delivery Managers to drive the adoption and implementation of agile practices, and to facilitate the smooth operational running of our business. You will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Your expertise in shaping and delivering Technology change programmes with agile methodologies and your strong leadership skills will enable you to guide complex global teams in delivering high-quality products and services while promoting efficiency and innovation.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Serve as a Senior Manager within the Cloud & Productivity Engineering function, leading a portfolio of work to improve the Developer Experience and DevSecOps capabilities of our organisation
  • Line Manage a small team of Agile Delivery Managers, in line with LSEG values and people leader processes
  • Lead the delivery of technology solutions with consistent agile processes, ensuring their effectiveness, including portfolio backlogs, value stream mapping & optimisation.
  • Champion the consistent application of performance metrics and tooling to create transparency and diagnose warning signs to take remedial action
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the successful delivery of the solutions.
  • Promote and facilitate continuous improvement practices within the Productivity Engineering teams, leveraging industry inputs and emerging technologies.
  • Contribute to the wider running of the business, including resource planning, budgeting, reporting and operational tasks such as achieving compliance to LSEG policies.
  • Serve as an advocate for agile adoption and enable the growth in agile maturity by identifying the stepping stones of change that lead to a high performing operation
  • Coach and mentor teams to foster an agile culture and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with product owners to provide work estimates and prioritise work for maximum value to the business

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Demonstrable experience in leading teams of people as line manager
  • Significant Experience of working with Agile above the team level and scaling frameworks, getting multiple teams working together (e.g. Scrum of Scrums, LESS, SAFE etc)
  • Experience of delivering technology solutions in an Agile environment with a Product Centric Operating framework
  • Track record in coaching and mentoring individual staff members agile teams
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to inspire and guide teams.
  • Ability to drive change and foster an agile culture within the organization.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • People leader experience with operational management responsibilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience of leading operational budgets, resource capacity plans and governance frameworks
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering technology solutions in an Agile way, leading cross functional planning events and other Agile ceremonies
  • Advanced MS PowerPoint skills distilling complex topics into clear and engaging visuals
  • Ability to influence senior business leaders with a high degree of professional maturity and resilience
