Agricultural Trainer

Job Summary

Agricultural Trainer is responsible for teaching a 5 day training in agricultural applications for beneficiaries in the Nimrud area.

Job Duties:

• Lead Agricultural Training for 5 days, 8 hours per day.
• Should provide curriculum focusing on: how to plant seedling seeds, how to make tree grafting, common plant diseases with treatments.
• Must be available for two meetings before the start of the sessions to confirm the class syllabus.
• Teach and train beginner users on the Home Composting Ideas.
• Must bring his/her own teaching resources for the training in the above topics.
• Benefits include a teaching stipend per training day, per diem to cover fuel or taxi to and from the program site for each session, and all equipment will be provided.

Must have proven knowledge of teaching in the agricultural section.

Education / Experience Needed

• 1-2 years’ experience working for an NGO and in the related topic.
• Agricultural college or institute graduate

LANGUAGE 

• Fluent Spoken and Written Arabic required.
• Conversational Spoken and Written English preferred.
