Agriculture Expert

MAIN OBJECTIVE

Develop curriculum and deliver technical training for DoA employees and 150 women in Sinuni and Sinjar for a total of 28 days.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

The Specialist Trainer will have the following responsibilities:

• Develop a package of practices for climate-resilient diversified agricultural production systems.
• Introducing the farmers on climate-resilient practices.
• Propose specific climate-smart agricultural technologies and practices smallholder farmers in the different regions in question can implement aimed at productivity improvement, as well as adaptation to and/or mitigation of the effects of climate change

• Develop the curricula for the 7 days training and deliver the trainings

  Moreover, the consultant have to comply with the agreement in terms of work plan, timeframe and respect of the AVSI’s policies.
