Position Summary
The City Nature Analyst supports a coordinated and strategic approach to performance tracking, budget monitoring, and resource analysis across Portland Parks & Recreation’s Land Stewardship division. This role develops and tracks performance metrics, evaluates equity in resource allocation, and supports informed decision-making that aligns with service goals. The Analyst also works closely with the fund center manager to prepare and monitor budgets, provide real-time financial analysis, and ensure consistent practices across the division.
The Land Stewardship division manages Portland’s parks, trails, natural areas, and community gardens, which are essential spaces that support healthy, connected communities. The team provides maintenance, environmental stewardship, and programming that promote physical, mental, and social well-being across the city.
City Nature is a work group within PP&R’s Land Stewardship division. In the City Nature work group, we strive to support ecologically healthy natural areas, gardens, trails, and nature patches, as well as provide sustainable access to nature for our community.
