Bridges has raised over £1.7bn across our platform of private markets verticals (Private Equity, Property, & Outcomes Contracts) and is recognised internationally for our 21-year track record and ongoing thought leadership in impact investing.Bridges is seeking an Analyst for our Private Equity Strategy to support the team across a range of areas, including impact analysis, portfolio engagement and value creation.We would like to hear from you if you are:Curious, analytical and great at problem-solvingExceptional at building strong working relationships with team members and across a range of stakeholdersA flexible and adaptable team player with a can-do attitudeAble to undertake a variety of activities with a degree of personal responsibility and autonomyHere’s a taste of what you’ll do:This role gives the opportunity to gain broad exposure to the whole of the investing cycle, from deal origination through to impact analysis, portfolio management and valuation.Impact Analysis and ManagementContribute to the impact assessment of potential investments using Bridges impact tools and frameworks to support due diligence and investment processes.Support on regular impact analysis and reporting, including annual reports and investor communications.Ensure that Bridges reporting aligns with relevant industry standards and frameworks (e.g. SFDR, PRI, B Corp).Portfolio Engagement and Value CreationCoordinate the collection of impact and operational data from portfolio companies.Liaise with portfolio companies to support the implementation of impact initiatives.Support value creation initiatives across the portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.Organise and support internal portfolio review meetings to track progress and surface insights.Origination and Valuation supportConduct market research on identified sectors by analysing market trends and policy driversAssist in building and maintaining a pipeline of potential investment opportunities through research, CRM systems, and outreachContribute to the screening and assessment of new investment opportunitiesAssist with preparing for quarterly valuation exercises of portfolio companiesBe a key driver of streamlining and improving the fund’s valuations processThe opportunity and prioritiesRare opportunity to build on Bridges’ deep social impact heritage, having pioneered place-based investing and social outcome contracts in the UK, and shape a social-inclusion-focused private equity business.Joining a business with a proven track record of investing in the lower-midmarket segment of the UKBeing part of an organisation that is at the absolute forefront of impact investing globallyWorking with highly impactful businesses that tackle important social challengesDeveloping and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships – engaging with and building strong relationships with multiple stakeholdersBuilding relationships and effective communicationWorking with our best-in-class in-house impact management team to maximise impact in the portfolioKey attributes that we’re looking forStrong alignment with Bridges’ values and cultureAn exceptional sense of purpose and interest in being part of a firm that makes a strong positive impact on people and planet.
