About Global Government Affairs: The Global Government Affairs team at Walmart, based in Bentonville, AR, Washington, and London, is concerned with strengthening Walmart’s license to operate. GGA is aligned with the business to create opportunities for growth: Leading change and managing risk in the global policy arena and protecting and enhancing Walmart’s reputation.

 

You’ll make an impact by…

• Drafting country-specific strategy documents.
• Securing advocacy opportunities and logistics for major international fora.
• Monitoring political risk and opportunities for Walmart to influence international and U.S. positioning on ongoing developments.
• Submitting diverse written reporting to Walmart executives.
• Contributing research and feedback on white papers and other research.
• Carrying out stakeholder mappings in key issue areas.
• Contributing to complex and time-sensitive deliverables and programs.

 

You’ll sweep us off our feet if…

• You have a BA, MA or MBA in social science, international relations, or business.
• You have relevant, globally oriented work experience in business or international relations for private sector, government, NGOs, trade associations, or similar.
• You are fluent in one or more relevant languages.
• You have strong research skills and are team oriented.
