Animal Care Internship: Full-time, seasonal, paid @ $13/hr. 20-week opportunities starting in May and ending in September. 12-week and 16-week options may be considered for the right candidate. Under the Direction of the Animal Curator, Animal Care interns will work closely with the full-time keeper staff learning all facets of captive wildlife husbandry and care. Primary duties will include diet prep, browse collection, habitat cleaning and assisting with animal encounter programs for the public. Interns may have the chance to observe/assist with veterinary care and animal training.
