About the Role

The Application Services team at Swinburne University of Technology are looking for an Application Analyst to join their team. 

The Application Analyst will be part of the Application Services Team in the Information Technology department, focusing on application management and delivery aligned with the application roadmap. The team integrates systems to support business processes, application support tasks, and coordination activities using various delivery methods. Responsibilities include analysing business requirements, driving change initiatives, and maintaining strong relationships across the organization. The role also involves providing support for different systems and cross-training initiatives within support teams. Swinburne IT aims to simplify, automate, and transform the university’s operations, delivering value and aligning with the university’s strategic pillars and vision.

About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 

  • Experience with; PHP, JavaScript, HTML, XML or other scripting languages; web development experience; experience with SQL queries
  • Working knowledge of O365, Active Directory, Windows server.
  • Windows Domain and Identity management knowledge
  • Demonstrated experience in software incident management and problem management including investigation, resolution and communication
  • Demonstrated experience in ITIL service management including investigation, resolution and communication

Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
