About the Role

The Application Support Engineer is a newly created role that will work closely with key stakeholders across the business to provide a high level of IT support and systems maintenance.

Working collaboratively with the Senior Systems Engineer this role will be responsible for timely and accurate technical support to end users across the business.

This role will play an integral part in the Business Systems team and the work that is being done to maintain and improve new systems and support the development and integration of new systems and digital tools.

About You

You will be a seasoned IT help desk specialist with demonstrated experience in the provision of Level 1 and level 2 ITIL-based technical support experience within a Microsoft desktop and server operating system-based environment. You will also have practical experience in maintaining desktop computing environments, including PC’s, printers, scanners and peripherals.

Your solid understanding of maintaining network hardware, including switch management, access point configuration, routers and thin clients combined with strong skills in Microsoft Server products including Exchange, Office 365 and SharePoint will position you well.

Effective verbal and written communication skills combined with your strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills and your customer centric focus will be essential.

To be successful in this role you will be highly motivated, enjoy working in a dynamic fast paced environment and have the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
