This position initiates and leads research projects and experiments involving high speed rotating systems; trains students and staff engineers on operation and maintenance of complex experimental rigs, software, and tools where applicable; develops reports, research articles, and presentations for sponsors, publication, professional meetings and conferences;

Qualifications:

Minimum Education:
Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Major: Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical or Computer Engineering

Experience:
Required:
2-4 years of experience in research, design and/or managerial roles with at least one 1 year of experience in the design of high-speed rotating components and execution of rotating experiments, and customer engagement; experience in a R & D setting (i.e., planning and conducting R & D projects/programs in terms of technical and managerial functions)

The target hiring range for this job profile is $67,700- $90,300. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limit to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
