RECI, the Swiss Network for Education and International Cooperation, is an independent, non-profit network of organisations and individuals who promote the right to inclusive and equitable quality education for all and to lifelong learning in the context of international cooperation.

RECI is organising a full-day conference, RECI Education Forum “Education in Turbulent Times: Building Resilience in the Context of the Polycrisis“, on 23 June.

About RECI Education Forum

The Education Forum provides a platform for mutual learning, participatory exchange, and the development of new ideas regarding the current and future state of education amidst interconnected global crises like armed conflicts, climate change, pandemics, economic uncertainty, and displacement.

The forum includes a plenary discussion featuring global experts such as Farida Shaheed, Linda Jones, Abed Dbas, and a representative from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), along with interactive workshops. These activities allow participants from Switzerland and around the world to explore strategies, tools, challenges, and lessons learned for fostering resilience, transformation, and lasting peace through education.

What RECI offers

Food and drink will be provided to volunteers during the day. Transport costs within Switzerland (half fare price) are also reimbursed.

Main responsibilities

As a volunteer at the RECI Education Forum 2025, you will assist the organizers with various tasks such as

• Welcoming guests, registration and check in
• Providing information, help and support to our guests and organizers
• Events clean up

Skills/competencies

• Good communication skills in English and/or French
• Half-fare (demi-tarif) travelpass for the SBB
• Diplomatic skills and customer service attitude

• Autonomy and quick problem solving
