Applications are invited for the fixed term role of Apprenticeship Quality Assurance Administrator. This role is based in the Educational Excellence Support team (EET), within Libraries which is part of the Registrars Department. EET is a small team who are key to supporting the University in its Quality Assurance and Quality Enhancement aims and activities and work closely with colleagues in Professional Services and Faculties across the University, in the UK and in China and Malaysia. 

This role will support the Senior Quality Assurance Manager to deliver quality assurance processes for the university with a focus on Degree Apprenticeship provision. The role holder will work with others including the Institute for Professional and Work-based Learning, Schools and Registry and Academic Affairs (RAA) to support various assurance activities such as Programme Level Self Assessment Reports and Quality Improvement Plans. They will also assist in the preparation and monitoring of associated action plans and help plan for and coordinate Internal Quality Reviews.

The role will also support the wider work of the Education Excellence Team in terms of secretariat cover for groups and committees, and co-ordination of the periodic review process as well as supporting the Senior Enhancement Manager in relation to activities associated with the Access and Participation Plan, School Enhancement Plans and outputs form the National Student Survey.

This post is offered on a fixed term basis until 31 December 2024. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week) ; however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part time and the number of preferred hours. Job share arrangements may also be considered.

Requests for secondment from internal candidates will be considered on the basis that prior agreement has been sought from both your current line manager and the manager of your substantive post, if you are already undertaking a secondment role.

The post is based on University Park campus, but may be required to occasionally work across our different campuses. The role is hybrid with a blended approach from home and office with an expectation to be on campus for at least 60% of the working week.
