Position Title (Classification Title):  Arcadia Mill Site Lead, Student Assistant
Working Title:  Arcadia Mill Site Lead
Job Summary: Location: Arcadia Mill Archaeological Site, Milton, FL.
Position interacts with the public on a daily basis and exhibits excellent customer service. The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
– Opening and closing of facilities.
– Ensure staff are arriving on time and adhering to schedule.
– Working at visitor service desks. Interacting with visitors, answering questions.
– Selling tickets, merchandise, and memberships.
– Ensuring public and staff areas are kept clean and supplies are stocked.
– Basic housekeeping.
– Inspect grounds and report maintenance issues.
– Using a leaf blower to clear the boardwalk.
– Making sure outdoor trash cans around the site are emptied regularly.
– Report to staff any items that need to be purchased.
Reports to Education & Interpretation Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must be a student enrolled for credit. Applicants may be a student at UWF or any other college, university or high school. A student enrolled at an institution other than UWF must provide proof of attendance by submitting a registration/fee payment receipt from the school they will attend.
Position Qualifications: Interest and knowledge in local history. Experience working with the public. Experience with a point of sale system.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in History, Archaeology, or related field. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a changing environment.
