Job description
- To be considered for this role, you’ll need extensive experience in Estimation or Architectural Costins and Planning
- You will be working alongside with a Tuvalu based counter part in Red Cross Society to assist with future grant prposal establishment
- As a volunteer, you will support the construction of new office building for Tuvalu Red Cross Society
About the Partner Organisation
The Tuvalu Red Cross Society (TRCS) was established in 1981 and is part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. The society’s work is guided by seven fundamental principles (humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity and universality), policies and by their Strategy.There are 8 officers in total working at the TRCS HQ, and over 150 volunteers mobilizing activities in the country. The Governing Board governs the Society between intervals of the General Assembly.

There are two allowances for a hybrid assignment.
The allowance for in-country phase is AUD$2,365per month.
The allowance for remote phase is AUD$131 per month.

Requirements
- All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV).
- A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.
- A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
Additional requirements for this assignment include obtaining First Aid Certificate.
