Job Description
AECOM is seeking an Architectural Designer to be based in our Boston, MA office.
The Architecture Designer will be responsible for the following items:
Responsible for providing architectural guidance, calculations, analysis, studies and recommendations for a specialized segment of the Architectural Discipline within the schedules and budget of an assigned project
May manage various size groups of architects, designers and/or specialists
May work on modest size projects and/or assist Project Architectural or Engineering Managers with higher grades
Assist in developing creative and coherent approaches and design solutions to a wide range of complex problems
Prepare concept plans and 3D renderings
Assist in preparing project presentations
Prepare construction documents at all phases of project design
Develop solutions for a wide range of difficult technical problems and interdisciplinary issues within established project budgets
Develop construction details
Adapt and modify design features under supervision of a Project Manager to meet project specifications
Coordinate with other disciplines during design and construction activities
Responsible for providing architectural guidance, calculations, analysis, studies and recommendations related to transit, aviation and building technologies

Preferred Qualifications :
Professional experience in construction administration
Professional BIM experience
Professional experience utilizing standard industry software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, and Bently
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Offered rate of compensation (Massachusetts locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $95,000 – $108,000 .
