Mountain Mamas is seeking a Program Manager based in Arizona to carry out the expansion of our organization into Arizona and implementation of the organization’s goals to protect our air, land, water and climate. The ideal candidate will be a strategic organizer with demonstrated experience. They should be passionate about our mission and skilled at identifying and implementing strategic member building opportunities which increase the
quantity and quality of voices calling for clean energy and protection of public lands. You will focus specifically on the voices of parents and healthcare workers, effectively engaging in priority regions across the state. You will work closely with the Co-Director, other Mountain Mamas staff and other partners to ensure these perspectives are elevated across Arizona in decision-making spaces on conservation issues that impact our kids
and families.

What You’ll Do – Educate, Engage, & Recruit Mamas and Healthcare Voices to Influence Policy
The Program Manager will be responsible for cultivating diverse voices to engage in decisions that impact conservation issues throughout Arizona to secure protections for our kids’ health today and to protect their future.
You’ll be responsible for building a movement representative of the community that is engaged and takes action on our issues. Areas of responsibility include:

To be successful in this job, you will be a dedicated, self-starting organizer who is a team player and is committed to building a movement for a better future, with the skills to build community and a willingness to learn. More specifically, you will have:
Spanish/English bilingual is preferred for this position, but not a requirement. The position does require some evening and weekend hours.
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this .75 FTE role is $48,000 -52,000 annually with exact salary depending on experience.
Benefits include a flexible schedule, paid holidays (all Federal holidays), 4 weeks paid vacation (one of these weeks will be the week between Christmas and New Year’s and a second surrounding the July 4th holiday when our office is closed), home office stipend and healthcare contribution.
