Our client, a Fine Art Shipping Company are seeking to hire an Art Logistics Coordinator to join their expanding team in London!Experience working in a fine art shipping company coordinating air and sea freight within is an essential requirement for this position.Responsibilities:
Coordinate export and import shipments by liaising with clients, transport, packing, and storage departments.
Prepare export/import documentation for sea freight, air freight, and exhibition shipments.
Stay updated on HMRC regulations and company procedures, completing documentation accurately and maintaining records.
Maintain and update internal documents related to import operations.
Ensure timely generation of quotations and prompt invoicing of shipments.
Adhere to company guidelines.
Coordinate collections/deliveries with clients, ensuring smooth logistics operations.
Keep clients informed about shipment progress and provide relevant documentation.
Oversee additional shipping processes upon client request.
Attend operations meetings to stay informed about logistics activities.
Arrange packing, providing packing room department with necessary information.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar position at a fine art shipping company is essential for this position.
Ability to handle export and import documentation for various shipment types (airfreight, sea freight, exhibition).
Proficiency in HMRC regulations and other relevant legislation.
Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and internal departments.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks effectively.
