- Develop and deliver engaging art lessons to students in line with the national curriculum
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students can explore and express their creativity
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them develop their artistic skills and techniques
- Plan and organize art projects and exhibitions within the school and local community
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art education into cross-curricular activities
- Assess and evaluate students’ work, providing meaningful feedback and tracking their progress
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their children’s artistic development and achievements
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent Art teaching qualification
- Proven experience teaching art to primary or secondary school students
- A passion for art education and a deep understanding of the national curriculum
- Strong artistic skills and techniques across a range of mediums
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students in their artistic journey
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students
