OVERVIEW OF THE FUNCTIONS OF THE POST
Bajo la autoridad general del Director de la Oficina Regional de la UNESCO en San José y la supervisión directa del Especialista del Programa de Cultura, este puesto implica tareas administrativas y de apoyo de oficina para contribuir al funcionamiento fluido y eficiente del Sector de Cultura.
La persona asistente del Programa de Cultura deberá realizar, entre otras, las siguientes tareas:
La persona asistente del Programa de Cultura deberá mantener una comunicación constante con los miembros del equipo de trabajo del sector de Cultura de la Oficina Regional de la UNESCO en San José, así como de las Oficinales nacionales en México y Guatemala, según sea requerido. Del mismo modo, realizará sus tareas en estrecha coordinación con los equipos de administración, comunicación, dirección y otros sectores de la Oficina Regional de la UNESCO en San José, según sea necesario.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Formación
Grado universitario en el ámbito de la gestión secretarial disciplinas afines.
Experiencia profesional
Mínimo 2 (dos) años de experiencia profesional en tareas administrativas, de secretaría o afines en un entorno internacional.
Habilidades y competencias
1. Conocimiento y comprensión de los mandatos institucionales de la UNESCO.
2. Capacidad para trabajar en un entorno multicultural y para establecer buenas relaciones de trabajo con contrapartes y socios externos e internos.
3. Excelentes habilidades interpersonales y de trabajo en equipo.
4. Excelentes habilidades de organización y coordinación.
5. Capacidad para trabajar eficazmente con plazos ajustados.
6. Capacidad para establecer prioridades y ejecutar planes de trabajo.
7. Sentido de la diplomacia, discreción e integridad profesional.
8. Excelentes conocimientos informáticos (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Idiomas
Excelentes habilidades de comunicación, tanto escrita como oral, en español e inglés.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Formación
Grado universitario en los ámbitos de la cultura, las artes, el desarrollo sostenible, o campos relacionados.
Experiencia laboral
Experiencia en organizaciones internacionales o agencias de Naciones Unidas.
Idiomas
Conocimiento de otra lengua oficial de la UNESCO (francés, árabe, chino o ruso).
